  5. Hi Lisanne

I am a long time reader of your newsletter and have picked up a lot of hints from it. Finally I got hold of your book from the library and brought it home. I just wanted to say thanks and let you know that your little book has just made my life so much easier.

I took your advice about baby steps , first I started with the dining room table which was just covered in stuff, bills, magazines books, notes to myself, recipes i had printed out… etc, etc. Once I got all that sorted out I sat back and took a breath and knew my next endeavour would have to be my desk and book case, which was just out of control ! Now everything is neatly labelled and organised so I know where everything is.

Next came the kitchen and on it goes. In a few weeks my neighbour and I are having a garage sale, so this weekend I am going to venture into the shed /garage and fish everything out that i can sell. I’m also going to make some soap to sell too.

Anyway all this thanks to you and your book , I have taken it back to the library now but learnt a lot about being more organised and my home and my sanity are much better off for it!

  6. Hi Lissane,
A friend forwarded this to me and I loved reading what you have done. I was one of the first people at the Ikea workshop, Just happened to be in the store and hear about it ( buying extra containers and files for the stuff !)
What made the difference ? using folders not filing cabinets !
I bought your book when it came out signed by you ! and last night could not sleep and reread the paper office sections .
You’ve made a difference to me.
