Easy storage for kids

I’m looking for a cheap but effective way to store card games. My kids love card games but the boxes are often too hard for the kids to easily put them back into… so they leave them on the floor. Or the package rips so the cards get left in a pile and then bumped… whoops… cards everywhere!

Rubber bands don’t seem to work as the kids aren’t quite old enough to put them on tight enough (age 6).

Advice?

This one came to me in a flash: and it’s cheap and easy.

Simply use a pencil case! If fingers struggle with the small tab on the zipper, just loop a short length of ribbon or a keyring that’s easy to grip.

This would also be good storage for the elderly or those with difficulties using their hands or fingers.
