Simple idea for your old shopping bags

I know you love a container. I know you love to shop.  I know you love to hoard the lovely bags.  I know you have bags from: Harrods, Bloomingdales, Armani, Tiffanys, maybe Chanel.  Or perhaps you have more of the garden variety: Muji, American Apparel, Myer, DJ’s, Country Road, blah blah blah. I still have a Liberty bag stashed in my treasures from way back when.

If you live in Melbourne you may well have a mandatory burgundy Georges bag.  If you’re a real aficionado, you may even have a Georges *box*!  Lucky you <sigh>.

Anyway, today, I saw a simple idea from Apartment Therapy, thanks to their latest house tour from Laura of Brooklyn Heights. The concept is very simple: frame a small selection of those bags (particularly if they are vintage).  What do you think?

  1. Great idea if you have some exciting bags. I wish I hadn’t tossed my “Buckingham Palace Shop” bag and my Culpeper’s bag! I tend to declutter these sorts of things!

What do you think?
