If you’ve got a question or comment about my book, SORTED! the ultimate guide to organising your life – once and for all – this is the place to post.
Melissa writes re hats and wardrobe organisation:
Hey Lissanne =)
My mum bought your book awhile ago and I ‘borrowed’ it to put into use on my bedroom (self confessed hoarder) and have found it absolutely amazingly helpful! So thank you.
However I do have one question-I reorganised my whole wardrobe according to your book, and while now it does give me an immense sense of satisfaction every time I open it, I’m completely lost as to how to effectively store hats! They weren’t in the clothes or the accessories part, so I was wondering if you thought maybe hat boxes were a good idea, kind of like the shoe boxes? Or maybe hanging them up? Reply soon! Thanks again,
Hey Melissa. Glad you found my book useful 🙂 that makes me happy!
You are right re your hats: use boxes for delicate, dressy ones (top of the wardrobe ideal) and hooks for caps etc. soft hats like beanies can be stored in a drawer – or with seasonal items like gloves, scarfes etc. Don’t forget to use the back of your wardrobe door if you can for the hang up kind! Hope this helps…
