When you’re decluttering, it can be shocking how old some things are. I thought this paint tin was maybe 3 years old, but when I opened it, the entire tin was rusty and crusty inside. So I checked the date on the label. 2006! It was 6 years old. Ouch. I needed to save that paint for touch ups, so here’s my less than-two-dollars-storage -solution: a small plastic tub with secure fitting lid. Glad I didn’t leave it any longer – the paint would have spoiled I think.
What old issues could you check on that might need your attention? Is it a dripping tap, a broken tail light on the car (I’m guilty of that one) or Christmas decorations that still need to go away? I’d love to hear about a problem you’re now motivated to fix.

Where do you get te plastic tubs?
Bunnings. If you don’t have Bunnings near you, try your local hardware retailer. Good luck!
Or don’t pay anything and use an empty Jalna yoghurt container?
